The random appearance of the Kool-Aid Man got me lots of props, and became a famous thing among Shinku! fans. I never understood this at first since I was hardly the only comic to do a gag like this (Penny Arcade and ? also did similiar gags). However the fans constantly begged for more Kool-Aid Man, and being a big Kool-Aid Man fan, I couldn't resist but give them what they want, thus eventually leading to my scary Halloween storyline.
Other Stupid Stuff:
Kool-Aid Man is my favorite mascot for a food/beverage, and one of my fondest memories from the 80s :D
